Gippsland line - buses replacing trains Melbourne <> Dandenong this weekend

Train replacement Sat 12 - Sun 13 Feb

Due to Metro track works, buses will replace Traralgon trains between Southern Cross Station and Dandenong. Bairnsdale services will operate as a bus for the entire journey.  Please allow an extra 50 minutes for your journey.

Traralgon services 

Buses will operate between Melbourne and Dandenong. Trains operate between Dandenong and Traralgon.

Bairnsdale services

Rosedale, Sale, Stratford and Bairnsdale train services will be replaced by buses for the entire journey to and from Melbourne.

General Information

 

In Melbourne, buses will depart from:

 - The Southern Cross Station coach terminal located on Spencer Street, opposite Little Bourke Street.

 - Flinders Street Station on Flinders Street opposite Degraves Street.

 - Clayton passengers please use Metro train replacement services.

Buses do not pick up at Richmond Station so customers should take a Metro train to Caulfield or Flinders Street Station.

No checked luggage.
