Due to Metro track works between Oakleigh and Pakenham buses will either partially or wholly replace some V/Line trains on Saturday 12, Sunday 13, and Monday 14 of March (Labour Day).
On Monday 14 March there will be limited access to Flinders Street Station due to the Moomba Parade. Please see below for details:
The following alterations will be in place:
Melbourne to Traralgon
All trains will be replaced with buses from Southern Cross Station to Pakenham and connect with trains to Traralgon.
Melbourne to Bairnsdale
Buses will replace trains for the entire journey beyond Rosedale to Bairnsdale.
Traralgon to Melbourne
Will operate as a train to Pakenham, and connect with buses for the rest of the trip to Southern Cross Station.
Bairnsdale to Melbourne
A bus service will run direct to Southern Cross Station from Bairnsdale and Rosedale.
Monday 14 March - Moomba Parade
Due to the Moomba Parade on Monday 14 March, access to and from Flinders Street Station is unavailable between 6:00 - 14:00.
Coaches will arrive and depart from Southern Cross Station only.

- Please allow up to an extra 60 minutes travel time;
- Checked luggage will not be available;
- Customers needing special assistance should call 136 196 before travelling.
