UPDATE: Bendigo line Closure Fri 27 July - Mon 6 August

All Bendigo, Echuca and Swan Hill train services will return to the normal V/Line timetable from Tuesday 7 August.

Buses will continue to replace trains between Melbourne and Bendigo / Echuca until Monday 6 August (inclusive) as per the temporary timetable which is currently in place. Trains are operating between Bendigo and Swan Hill during this time.

V/Line would like to thank people for their patience while the Sunbury Electrification works have been carried out.

The project is expected to be completed by the end of the year.

Unrelated Regional Rail Link works will be carried out from 10pm Friday 10 August until Sunday 12 August (inclusive). This will see all trains replaced by buses between Melbourne and Sunbury. Swan Hill services will run as a bus between Melbourne and Bendigo, and then train between Bendigo and Swan Hill.
